Account information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials via Firebase Authentication.

Uploaded content: Questions and images you upload for analysis. This content is processed by our AI to generate diagnoses and drill passages.

Usage data: Drill completion, accuracy scores, and skill progress to provide analytics and personalized recommendations.

Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve the Service, including AI diagnosis and drill generation
  • Track your progress and provide personalized study recommendations
  • Process payments and manage your subscription
  • Send important service updates (not marketing emails)

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Google Cloud Platform: Infrastructure and AI processing (Vertex AI)
  • Firebase: Authentication services
  • Stripe: Payment processing

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure cloud infrastructure with private networking, and access controls. Your uploaded content is stored in a secure database accessible only through authenticated API requests.

5. Data Retention

Your account data and uploaded content are retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for service improvement.

6. Your Rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can export your drill history and progress data from your dashboard.

7. Children's Privacy

FortePrep is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
