Why we built
FortePrep
In music, forte means to play with strength and power. FortePrep was founded on that same idea — building strength where it matters most. It started when a software engineer watched his son plateau on the MCAT, making the same types of reasoning errors despite reviewing every explanation in his prep books.

What exams do you support?
We currently support the MCAT CARS section, with Bio/Biochem, Chem/Phys, and Psych/Soc coming soon. LSAT, GRE, and USMLE support is on our roadmap.
How is this different from Anki or other flashcard apps?
Flashcard apps test recall — they help you memorize facts. FortePrep targets reasoning skills. We generate full-length passages with questions that test the same logical framework you struggled with, in a completely new context. It’s active practice, not passive review.
What do I need to upload?
A screenshot or photo of your missed question from any practice exam or question bank. Include the passage, all answer choices, and ideally which answer you selected. FortePrep handles the rest.
